Advice for our Parents - Meningitis

Following the tragic death of a toddler in Lancaster recently we would like to give advice to our worried parents.

Unfortunately the Practice cannot offer vaccination outside of the NHS England Schedule, (the MenB vaccine is a routine childhood vaccination that is offered on the NHS to all babies born on or after May 1 2015.) the schedule is 8 weeks, 16 weeks, and one year.

We recommend you check NHS Choices website,  or contact the  Charity Meningitis Now helpline on  0808 8010 388 to speak to someone for further advice.

We believe Boots Chemist is offering the vaccination therefore they should be able to help you further.

Thank you
